Infact, i wrote about Footboard travel on the buses in Madurai only a few days back..here.. http://kavismusings.blogspot.com/2009/07/footboarding.html And ofcourse, there is this 'Limited Stop Service' LSS buses, on whom the LSS tag was enough to speed through without stopping ! But i must say, the quality of the buses that you find currently in Madurai are better. To some of the variety that i see in Mumbai everyday !
